MODEL CALL 2022

Strands, A Fiber Fashion Showcase, features fiber art designers who exhibit their handmade crochet and knit fashions and accessories. The purpose of this show is to expose our art form to a wider audience and get people interested in wearing and purchasing crochet and knit fashion and accessories on a regular basis.

In our 5th year, the 2022 show will again be held at the Performance Art Theater at Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

This fashion event includes a phenomenal showcase, handmade Artisan Bazaar, exclusive Buyer’s boutique, entertainment, and fabulous food & beverage options.

We are in search of models of all ages, ethnicities, and body types. This fashion event will be on stage and not your typical runway setup.

If you would like to walk in our spectacular event, please submit your information on the Model Call form. Models will be invited to walk in-person on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 3-6pm.

Deadline for submission is February 10, 2022. Participants will be selected by February 12, 2022. Model Call in-person walk through location details will be listed on your invitation. Models MUST register to be invited to the in-person call.

Rehearsals will be Friday & Saturday, March 18 & 19, 2022 in the Performance Art Theater at the Southwest Arts Center (time to be determined).

Participants will be required to be masked while backstage but not on the stage.
